Nature walk, birds and animals

Brookhall Historical Farm is situated in the beautiful countryside of south county Antrim, three miles from Lisburn city and close to Lough Neagh - the UK's largest inland lake.

The public access areas of the farm cover 12 acres and offer the opportunity to relax in our attractive gardens or enjoy the short nature walk. We recently completed planting 4000 trees that will, in due course, provide an extended wooded walk.

This is an ideal way of seeing animals in the fields - such as the cattle grazing by the lakeside. Nature lovers will see a variety of bird life from the tiny wren to herons en route to nearby Lough Neagh.
